We here at GG&G are really saddened to hear the
news of Huntsville artist, LaChris, (Larry Christopher Cole) being killed in a shooting at the studio. I personally just saw him at The Benchwarmer Sunday before last at the Freestyle Sunday event and he was as cool as a fan. They even spun his record "Feelin' Myself" and people were rocking to it in the crowd. We've all got memories of when he used to hang around the Speed of Sound telling jokes in the lobby and staying late until the wee hours of the morning working hard on his own music. We don't know the circumstances but we do know that overall, its just a sad occasion and many within the HSV hip hop community are shocked and hurt by his sudden passing. It only seems fitting for us to post this in-studio video he recorded at Speed Of Sound for "Outta Here". LaChris virtually lived in the studio doing something that he loved and it is unfortunately ironic that he died in one, as well. Our condolences to his family and many friends. R.I.P.
